This chapter deals with certain aspects of Astrology that are important for the student to know and learn. This is a collection of articles more on the opinion of Astrology and a few taboo subjects between each field of Astrology that is practiced. One of the biggest arguements against Astrology happens to be the subject of fate vs. free will. This subject has plagued many Astrologers not only today but for centuries concerning how free our will to act is or if we even have free will at all.
Since Modern Astrology excludes a lot of important aspects of Traditional Astrology and the fact that Modern Astrology is often very interpretation focused, it has the need to include a lot of points that need to be interpreted. Because of this fact, we see the major difference between Modern and Traditional branches of Astrology are the fact that the Traditional astrologer sees that everything in existance can be contained in 12 signs, 12 House and 7 Planets (including Sol & Luna), where as the Modern astrologer believes that the more points, the more there is to interpret (since Modern Astrology lacks a lot of the major calculations needed to bring forth more interpretations). Thus we see that in that branch there are a lot of other bodies included. The main bodies included are the outter Planets which are, in the traditional opinion, quite useless because all of their significations can be found out through the traditional 12 signs, 12 Houses, and 7 Planets.
For the aid and understanding of the traditional students of Astrology I have added a glossary of terms used on this site and also those which are used often by the traditional authors.
Astrology is an art of timing. Time is exceedingly important in all forms of Astrology and through this treatise we will analyze the specific timing that must be used for each type of chart cast. While I have introduced the specific time charts should be cast in other chapters, I felt it appropriate to collect them into one article for easy reference in this one place and do some explaination concerning each time.
