In order to accurately judge Solar Returns the Astrologer must be able to specifically be able, according to the chart, show what time an event is to take place. Using this simple method, you can easily come to the day of an event happening. Keep in mind that, like Directions and Transits, there needs to be support for this chart.

All one needs to do to extract the date from a solar return is to take the distance between the Significator and Promittor (as taught in the Directions section) and convert that using a time scale in which produces the correct day an event will take place counting from the date of the Solar Return casting. For every degree of distance one day should be counted. Therefore a separation of 200 degrees will be 200 days from the date of birth. In order to aid in the calculation I have included a table which will help determine the correct date. It should be noted finally that if it is a leap year one day needs to be added after February.
