He takes pleasure in novelties; he is somewhat unsteadfast, and oftentimes stirs and shifts in his habitations; he is timorous and easily frightened; a lover and desirer of peace; a soft, tender, and well disposed creature. Ill dignified, the Native then proves a vagabond, or mere idle, lazy companion; a drunken sottish fellow, delighting to live carelessly and beggarly; one of no spirit; a hater of labor; a mutable, unsettled, inconstant person.[1]
