Quadrate/Quartile - Also called a square, it is an aspect that produces tension between two Planets who meet with it. It is malevolent but less so than the Opposition. It is separated 90 degrees.

Querent - A person (primarily in Horary Astrology) who asks a question.

Quesited - A person (primarily in Horary Astrology) who is asked about by a Querent.

Radical - A chart must be determined to be answerable (especially in Horary Astrology). If it is deemed answerable it is called Radical.

Refranation - Two Planets meeting to form an aspect, when another goes retrograde and leaves the aspect is called Refranation.

Retrograde - A Planet that is retrograde is moving dexter or counter to the succession of the zodiac. Retrogradation is a major debility.

Revolution - Usually making reference to the cycling of the Sun back to its original position when the first chart was cast. Revolutions are used in predictive astrology to determine the events of that year.
